Homestay registration looming

Time is running out for anyone planning to open their home to visitors this TT. Registration for the Homestay scheme closes on Monday, April 30th. The scheme is operated by MiQuando and sees residents host paying visitors at both TT and the Festival of Motorcycling. Registration is compulsory – with fees starting from £37.50 per year for a new registration and £22.50 for a renewal. The fee includes access to government's public liability insurance.

Arrest warning over unpaid fines

Police are warning people to pay their unpaid fines or face being arrested. Officers say they are dealing with several outstanding debts which have had arrest warrants drawn up. They're urging people to contact the Isle of Man Courts of Justice to arrange payment as soon as possible.
